Aug 23 - Office and layout room nearly done, had to move the air conditioner to the wall requiring some carpentry. We have new servers, much better and higher performance than before. Also new routers and access points that will speed things up and allow not only B and G wireless but Draft N wireless. We will be able to allow certain customers to use the wireless on a guest system while in the local area as well without making the rest of the network unsafe. One of the two new routers is configured and in use now and has greatly sped things up. Shouldn't be long before the checkout room is done but I have to modify the side wall to replace the window with a door for loading and unloading.

 

This is a temporary page until the new facilities are done and the servers are moved. It serves only as a sort of business card for contact information. 

In business since 1995 and experience in electronics and repairs since the late 60s, computers and peripherals since the mid 70's - the main business of RBCS is service, upgrade and sales for computer, laptop, server, printer, plotter, copier and fax as well as networks, networking, cabling of most types (network Cat3-6/type 1/thinnet/thicknet/etc, audio, communications, video, telephone, more) and much more. We had been an HP ASP until May 09 when HP kicked all the smaller ASPs to the curb after years of making HP look good to the customers so we no longer do in-warranty HP work. Out of warranty we do nearly anything above plus things like typewriters, binding machines, shredders, etc. We are also the only local service shop to repair laptop DC jacks, and to do it correctly. Over 30 yrs experience and certifications from many sources including CompTIA, HP/Compaq, Dell, Samsung, Toshiba and many more. We can also train one or a group with an AAS Instructor in Technology degreed instructor with 8 yrs classroom in electronics, computers, missile systems, aircraft systems and support equipment - and technical writing as well. 

We are also working on the addition of other aspects including sign making, sandblasting, PC case mods, airbrushing, BW and color job printing, fax services and much more but are limited until our building is finished this spring or summer.

If you happen to get our answering machine please leave a message with callback number and if you do not hear back in 24 hrs please try again as answering machines are machines and can fail just like your PC or printer. We also take repairs by ship-in then repair and ship back. Contact us for details. Laser printer maintenance kits are available but in most cases we rebuild fusers onsite with your old fuser and new rollers or we can take your non-working fuser (or a spare if you have an extra to send) by ship-in then rebuild it and include the rollers and instructions and ship to you - at about 1/3rd the cost of commercially rebuilt kits from HP (rebuilt in China, nothing like throwing our currency across the ocean supporting Communism). 

Customers of the former Ace IT Solutions in Elizabethtown or the former TM Computer of Bowling Green are welcome to call and see how we can replace your service company that is gone with a live servicer that will take care of much more of your equipment repairs, upgrades, etc and cabling and printing equipment - and we dont charge higher rates for AS/400 (midrange) connected printers like TM did. Ace IT closed due to personal reasons and TM merged into an out of state company so it leaves folks without proper service. I co-worked with Ace IT the last few years including the time before that when it was Service First Computing and in 2000 I was employed with TM before they changed business model and laid people off. 

We also can accommodate 3rd party/outsource needs but we will only act as your subcontractor not your employee, will not steal your customer but will not join into a non-compete of any type - and service will be at our normal rates. Call if you have a client to be serviced locally and need someone in the area to handle it. Terms on these jobs are payment on completion by Paypal unless we have extended your firm the ability to mail a check within 5 days. No net 21, 30, 45, 60 or others - we cannot work on promises. We have done, and still do, a lot of 3rd party work for many companies in the US via direct contracting, ServiceLive and Onforce and a few other platforms.
